Gifting in Fortnite is finally available now, for a limited time you can now purchase various items for your friends and they can for you.

This feature isn’t available for iOS users, however, due to Apple’s policies.
How to Gift in Fortnite
Gifting in Fortnite is really simple, follow the steps below to gift various items to your friends, but before that make sure you meet the following conditions
- Make sure you have Multi-factor authentication enabled on your account. If you’re not sure how to get this setup then check out the instructions here.
- You must have been friends with somebody for at least 48 hours before you can send a gift to them.
- You will only be able to lift three times within a 24 hour period.
- Any gifts that are purchased are NOT refundable.
- You can only gift an item that is currently available in the Item Shop.
Now, moving on to how you do it
- Go to the Item Shop
- Select the item you want to purchase
- Out of the two options now available, choose “Buy As A Gift” other than “Purchase Items”
- Now, choose which friend you want to gift it to, add a custom message, which is optional and that’s it
- Your friend will receive the gift with or without the custom message
That’s all you need to know about Gifting in Fortnite. Again, this is a limited time event, so make sure you start gifting if you were waiting for this feature.
