The game was previously rated for both Xbox One and PC, and we expect announcements for the platforms very soon. The ratings clearly suggested versions available for other platforms as well. A Nintendo Switch version could also be possible as this is a fairly old game, and the Switch is capable enough to handle it.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered Release Date
The game is scheduled to release sometime this year.
Another Epic Games Store Exclusive?
The game according to the rating for PC indicated that it is being published by Epic Games Korea. This means that Epic Games Store will probably have this as an exclusive on PC. The game wasn’t developed on Epic’s Unreal Engine, nor was it published by them, so it only makes sense for them to publish the remaster.
This will be another exclusive title for the Epic Games Store, and another title Steam users will miss out on, should they choose not to buy on Epic Games Store.
The original title was available on Steam for a while but was removed by Atari in 2017.
Remasters of previous games are always nice because this is the only means we have to preserve games for modern platforms with better framerates and higher resolutions. We also hope that a new Ghostbusters game is also in development, as it’s been a long time since we got any game from that franchise.
