The finishing of the famous season of Game of Thrones is now in debate. George R. R. Martin, the writer and creator of the famous novel spoke at the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival that he would like round off the epic TV series with a feature film. His official statement was that “I would love that”. According to this, the season is already half way done. With the fourth season of at an end, only four more seasons and a feature film remains. Talking about the fourth season, the story did not developed and some fans are even saying that he story is now getting off the books (Hint: White Walkers). 
However the author previously turned down early offers to make a film version of his world of Vesteros. But now he has a change of mind. Now he says that a big screen could make the perfect culmination to the hugely popular HBO series. George R. R. Martin said, “If we go seven or eight seasons and then the show is still big enough that we can get the $200 million to finance a huge epic movie to end it…sure!” George R. R. Martin said that discussions have already been held about feature film. He said, and I quote, “But that doesn’t mean it has been approved. Some people like the idea. Other people don’t like the idea.” George R. R. Martin, who is in the “yes” camp, pointed out that Game of Thrones already has “the biggest cast in television” and the “biggest budget in television”. Each episode of the season is estimated to cost between $5 million and $6 million. Moreover, each season costs between $60 million and $90 million. 
“But that’s still nothing to what Peter Jackson spends on a Lord Of The Rings movie or what any of these big, epic science fiction or fantasy movies have to spend. To go out with something big like that would be amazing.” The show has already been premiered in cinemas as Graunam’s Chinese Theatre and New York’s Lincoln Center. “The show looks great on a big screen, I mean a really big screen. It has cinematic values already,” George R. R. Martin pointed out. “I don’t care about 3D,” the author concluded. “It gives me a headache.”
