Ever since the literally explosive release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, (yes, in case you did not know, it legit exploded) everyone has been waiting to see what Samsung does different in the new model in that line; the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Samsung, the smartphone giant, is officially going to unveil its latest flagship device, the Galaxy Note 8, on the 23rd of August as confirmed by them in an official tweet.
Invites were sent by Samsung, for the company’s Galaxy Unpacked 2017 event. In this event, the company aims to unveil and showcase its upcoming smartphones, after a year of being on a break. In the official for the event, we can notice the familiar bezel-less display outline, that we all recognize from the Galaxy S8. It also confirms the rumor about the new device’s display being larger than the S line.
This new device is also going to be accompanied by the signature S Pen stylus and is expected to be equipped with all the advanced feature that we saw on the Galaxy S8, including the facial recognition and retina scanner.
Recent rumors about the Note 8 have pointed out to it having the first dual lens camera on any Samsung flagship phone. This gives the company’s already famous line, a new feature to enhance its value with.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specs:
A lot is at stake for Samsung, as the last phone they released in this line, the Note, had to be abruptly pulled from the market after several incidents of it overheating and exploding. The Note 8 also follow the Samsung Galaxy S8 which is a very powerful and beautiful device but comes with an awkwardly placed finger print sensor. The Note 8 is speculated to have a 6.3 inch screen, which is a lot larger than Galaxy S8’s 5.8 inch screen. It is also expected to have a Snapdragon 35 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and a 3,300mAh battery. However, besides all these cool feature, the finger print sensor is rumored to be located on the same dreadful spot on the back of the device.
This new phone would mostly likely be available for purchase in September/October, depending on the market for its rival, Apple’s iPhone 8.
Feel free to tell us what you expect from the new Note 8, and whether you would choose it over Apple’s iPhone!
