Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the game fans of FromSoftware have been anticipated for. The game is set during feudal Japan and features a Japanese warrior with a prosthetic arm on a journey to rescue his young lord. And that is about where the story details end. Recently, there’s been a lot of traction to the idea that this is NOT a traditional FromSoftware souls-like title but rather a reinvention of the formula. Now we have a FromSoftware Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Release date.
The release date was tweeted out by the official FromSoftware twitter account. The tweet that confirmed this is below:

So there we have it, folks. FromSoftware Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Release date has just been announced. 22nd March 2019, mark your calendars in order for the latest of what FromSoftware has to offer. Sekiro is an Action Adventure title which is a far cry from the traditional RPG formula of the normal souls. Fans had mixed reactions to the changes.
Some expressed disappointment that the game would not have the formula that a lot thought made it work. While others were more optimistic. Citing how the first title in every FromSoftware game is usually the most iconic i.e. Bloodborne, Dark Souls 1 etc.
The prosthetic arm and the grappling hook mechanic is a point of interest among fans because they feel as if it not only opens up exploration in a vertical sense but also might highlight the next evolution of the trick weapons from Bloodborne given the versatility of the prosthetic arm as shown in the E3 trailer.
Sekiro is set to be more open world than previous titles and also is said to bring back the interconnectivity of Dark Souls 1, a point which FromSoft has liberally marketed.
