Santa Monica Studios, the developer of the God of War series, has put up a job listing to hire a concept artist. This listing is most probably put up for a God of War Sequel. We say this because in the aforementioned job listing, listed under “Principle duties” are some lines that state:
Work with the Art Directors and Leads to create a high quality characters, gods, creatures, and props. Must be able to create character designs that are both visually strong while also supporting the gameplay and narrative needs.
So the God of War development team is looking for a concept artist for a video game that supports the gameplay and makes narrative ends meet and it also happens to require high-quality characters, gods, creatures, and props. What triple-A video game by Santa Monica Studios which is narrative heavy could possibly have gods? Beats us.
It’s fairly obvious that its a God of War Sequel. Now some readers might be tempted to think that this might be DLC for God of War. Well, that can’t be since Cory Barlog himself confirmed in a tweet that there would be no season pass.
No season pass. As for the story questions – you will have to wait and play the game to see how it all shakes out. I just finished another play-through last night around midnight and it was still awesome! I'm totally biased, though.

God of War released on April of 2018 to highly positive reviews with many reviewers terming it a masterpiece. In case you’re on PC and you want to play this game, here are the spec- oh wait, this is a PS4 exclusive. You can’t. T_T
