The Darksiders series is a name synonymous with underrated and coming from a studio with a less than fortunate past, With Vigil games no longer a part of the living, Darksiders 3 Gameplay has managed to surface and with Gunfire Games at the helm, it seems like things are going good.
In Darksiders 3 you assume the role of Fury, this is surprising since Darksiders 1 and 2 had protagonists that belonged from one of the 4 horseman of the apocalypse, with War and Death as the respective protagonists for each game. Many gamers would speculate how Famine or Pestilence would be as a character and deliver a performance equal to that of the other two siblings.
Fury is a mage with the target of hunting down the seven deadly sins, and while the game made a surprise appearance as an Amazon store listing earlier this year, it is a great surprise to see a first look at some living breathing gameplay for a sequel that has long been in wait.
Currently the release date for the game is listed as 2018 with no specific month listed, we can hope that it does release at a time where other popular games won’t steal the spotlight.
Where War brandhished his iconic sword and Death with his Scythes, Fury’s weapon of chocie is her trusty chain which you can see serves multiple purposes and helps with traversing the world around her, giving some sick combos and looking good while at it.
We have yet to hear more about the game and find more media regarding it, but you can rest assured that as soon as more media does surface for the game, we will be quick to cover it.
