The game has been in development for years now and we finally received a release date at E3 this year i.e. 16 April 2019.
The game is scheduled for release across multiple platforms such as PS4, PC and Xbox One. Diverting entirely from their Witcher games, the company is developing a futuristic sci-fi RPG game set in the year 2077. The game would offer a first-person perspective where players will control a character named V. V is a mercenary whose sex, hairstyles, face, body type, body modifications, background, and clothing are customizable.

At E3 this year, the devs showcased yet another trailer for the game which also revealed Keanu Reeve’s character. The reception surrounding the game has been immensely positive so far and many consider Projekt Red has the holy grail of game developers. They have set the bar high with their previous Witcher Games and now we can’t wait to get our hands on their newest endeavor.
The game will be set in Night City which is an American megacity in the Free State of California, controlled by corporations and unassailed by the laws of both country and state. It sees conflict from rampant gang wars and its ruling entities contending for dominance.
The whole premise of the game is based on Robotics and crime and so it will surely be an interesting take on a futuristic society.
