Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is an HD remaster of the role-playing video games Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, originally developed by Square on the PlayStation 2 in the early 2000s. The remaster has been available on various consoles and now the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for Nintendo Switch File Size has been revealed.

The remaster for both games are quite heavy on the Switch and you should have some memory freed up.
For the initial download, you’ll need 14 GB and after installation, the game becomes a total of 26.9 GB. For comparison, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was around 13.4 GB.
This is one of Nintendo Switch’s heaviest games yet and it’s only going to increase as more titles come to the console. It makes sense because there are two full remasters packed into one package as well.

If you have pre-ordered the game, you can now pre-load it as well. Nintendo Switch pre-load times are quite generous as the game is a month a half from release. Most consoles only allowed pre-loads two days before release.

The HD remaster for both titles in one are headed to Nintendo Switch on 16th April 2019.
The Final Fantasy franchise has been slowly making it’s way to the Nintendo Switch and now three more titles are headed to it, including Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age. Most of the titles have been released on handhelds before, but the more demanding ones are only making their way to the Switch only.
