Whether Snapchat is going to disappoint on the rejection of Facebook’s purchase over? Or it will come victorious over Facebook’s Slingshot app? Well, this will definitely soon going to be clear as Facebook is going to release the Slingshot app today.
Some days back, the app, unintentionally, showcased on iTunes. However, it was removed later on. But, we managed to get some details of the Slingshot app from its description. You will be able to send text with photos or videos. In order to view a message, the receiver should acknowledge it. This will prevent the strangers from sending the messages. There will be also an option for sending automatic photo reply.
The app will be FREE of cost and hopefully, be available for both iPhone and iPad. Remember, Facebook tried to buy Snapchat, few months ago. The offer was however rejected. Even before that, Facebook brought an app named Poke which resembled Snapchat. The project failed to succeed. Let’s see how Slingshot app will compete. The app development is supervised by none other than Mark Zuckerberg. So, Snapchat developers should keep their eyes open.
What you say regarding the app? Are you going to switch off to Facebook’s one?
