An Eye Theater for Nintendo Switch was just revealed to be released. The device can be pre-ordered or reserved starting July 4th and is set to release in early September by Thanko Electronics. It can supposedly also be used with smartphones with a Type-C connector.
The set with the eye theater comes along with a Type-C to HDMI conversion adapter. The price is set to be 22,780 yen. The product consists of a set of conversion adapters that can connect either the Nintendo Switch or a smartphone to the wearable monitor via a USB Type-C port. The 120-inch screen spreads out 4 meters ahead of the user. It supports full HD input with a resolution of 1280×800. The lens positioning, brightness and volume control are all adjustable via the headset.
