Fornite has been making rounds in the gaming community ever since the battle royale mode was released. Fornite has grabbed an immense player base for itself and it doesn’t show any signs of dying. The game’s popularity across various platforms is nothing short of spectacular. However, there have been some reservations regarding the matchmaking system in the game. Players have complained that those who use a mouse and keyboard combo on a console should not be paired against those who play on the standard controller. Players claim that the keboard+mourse combo affords an unfair advantage to those players who use it and naturally we agree. No matter if you prefer joystick over KBM, no one can deny that a mouse will always outdo a controller in shooter games.
Apparently, Epic games has finally recognized this as a legitimate problem and has responded. A subreddit by the name of r/FortNiteBR is a developer supported community for all things Fornite. A community manager who goes by the username, Justmooney1, recently posted,
“Hi!
We’re actually working on some matchmaking tech, on the way, that’ll pair you against folks based on your choice of peripherals. More info on this coming next week, but tl;dr if you’re on KB+M you’ll be against KB+M.“
This is a much need confirmation and players have been relieved to have heard of this. Looks like finally the game will be balanced in terms of peripherals used to play the game. We expect the update to arrive later in the month, for now, this is we have for you, make sure to keep checking back as we will be updating our articles once new info becomes available.
