Drawn to Death on PS4 Shutting Down
If you boot up the game right now, you’ll be getting the following announcement page
This statement is similarly present on the game’s product page as well, stating
Multi-player and all online features for this product will be terminated and will no longer be available on 03/25/19. As you have to be online to play this title, this game will not be playable starting 3/25/19.
So basically you have till March next year to play this game if you’re interested and give its online nature, there is no offline mode available for you to play without its servers.
David Jaffe is one of the most acclaimed video game director’s and it’s sad to his game not doing so well and now having to shut down.
This shouldn’t really come as a surprise though since The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency closed down back in February and it wouldn’t have made sense for Sony to keep servers on for a game that was already received poorly as well.
Nonetheless, if you want to try out a multiplayer game that for a fact had some really clever mechanics, you have till March next year to play it, it’s currently available for $19.99 and has DLC as well.
