AMD has just released Radeon Adrenalin Edition 20.5.1 driver for its devices addressing multiple bugs and improvement instability. The driver fixes many new and known issues of latest AAA games like Star War Jedi: Fallen Order, Sniper Elite 4, Red Dead Redemption 2, and more. The driver addresses issues like Radeon RX Vega Series and Radeon VII graphics products experiencing performance drops when Performance Metrics Overlay is open while in-game.

Fixed Issues
Here are some of the issues addressed in the latest update:
- Overwatch may experience an intermittent crash or black screen when joining a match.
- A TDR or black screen may occur when running the Vulkan test from Geekbench 5.
- Red Dead Redemption 2 may fail to launch in some Hybrid Graphics system configurations.
- Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Control may experience application hangs when launched with Radeon Anti-Lag enabled.
- Texture corruption may be seen in the bottom right corner of the screen when moving your mouse in Shadow of the Tomb Raider with Radeon Boost enabled.
- Lighting corruption may be seen when moving your mouse in Grand Theft Auto 5 with Radeon Boost enabled.
- Memory Tuning may fail to apply on AMD Radeon VII graphics products.
Known Issues
Many of the the known issues like Enhanced Sync causing a black screen, games stuttering while running on AMD RX 5000 series graphics cards and more. Some of the fixed issues are:
- Desktop or In-game corruption may occur intermittently when HDR is enabled.
- Users still experiencing black screen or system hang issues during extended periods of gameplay.
- Some game titles may experience hitching when Instant Replay is enabled on Radeon RX 5000 series system configurations.
- Radeon RX Vega series graphics products may experience a system crash or
- when performing multiple task switches using Alt+Tab.
