Adobe Photoshop Lightroom was made free for iOS last month and users appreciated it and left a very positive feedback. Now the Adobe Lightroom is available for free on Android as well.
The Android version is updated to version 1.4 and it no longer requires Adobe Creative Cloud subscription to use it. You can download it for free from the Play Store and it is free to use. However, having an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription will have some advantages like file synchronization with Lightroom on a desktop or laptop and lightroom web facility. You can also avail a 30 days trial of Adobe Creative Cloud which will let you try all the features of Lightroom.
Adobe Lightroom for Android and iOS has a vast variety of features almost as much as the desktop version. You won’t have to go to the desktop often to make editings. The mobile version also supports raw DNG files.
Adobe team is working hard on Android version of the Lightroom to make big improvements to it. They plan to announce it in near future.
