The International 2018 compendium is getting into in its later stages and like every time it comes with a lot of new stuff. This time, however, Valve took their sweet time to release the exclusive Dota 2 Immortal Treasure III and to be very honest, they released it very late and they judged the patience of a lot of players. The chest is exclusive to only Battlepass owners and the immortals will be marketable after a year.
Dota 2 Immortal Treasure III Contents
Now let’s talk about which heroes received immortals this time. The Immortal Treasure III features all-new items for Shadow Shaman, Dark Willow, Queen of Pain, Batrider, Zeus, and Naga Siren.
In addition to these items, each of these treasures you open also offers increasing odds to receive a very rare Golden version of the Queen of Pain item or an ultra-rare bundle for Witch Doctor. You can also get a rare reward of Battle Points or the cosmically rare Emblem of the Crystal Echelon.
If you own the Battlepass then you should be able to find the new chest in your inventory ready to be opened. You can open more chests if you level-up you Battlepass high enough. The update also includes an update to The International Compendium revealing this year’s roster of broadcast talents, and a list of bug fixes which you can read on the official Dota 2 website.

- Censer of Gliss for Shadow Shaman
- Hearts of Misrule for Dark Willow
- Bloodfeather Feast for Queen of Pain
- Ghastly Nocturne for Batrider
- Tempest Revelation for Zeus
- The Order of Cyprin for Naga Siren

Dota 2 Immortal Treasure III Final Verdict
With recent chests releases, the Dota 2 community was pretty upset because the quality of the hats was not up to Valve standards and they felt like a very poor job done. After getting this many negative comments and criticism Valve had to make sure that Immortal Treasure III would be eye catching and people should love it. With no one’s expectation Valve released The International Collectors Cache version 2. Which was so cool and get positive responses from the Dota 2 community,
After the release of this Immortal Treasure chest, I can safely say that Valve did a pretty good job. These Immortals looks great and do not feels like overkill as they might have done in the past with some heroes. The effects are subtle and feels so satisfying to see. I loved every immortal and the Witch Doctor one is just mind blowing. I think Valve finally listened to the community and did an amazing job.
