The Samsung Galaxy S9 features some of the best audio processing in the industry. Thanks to its Dolby Atmos technology, the Samsung Galaxy S9 offers a more immersive sound experience when watching movies, especially on a quality headset. For those of you who have experienced this first hand, you know what I am talking about. When turned on, the Dolby Atmos delivers louder and more pronounced sounds. Now, thanks to our friends at xdadevelopers, you can flash Dolby Atmos on Samsung Galaxy S8.
A senior member at Xdadevelopers, ImbaWind, has successfully ported Dolby Atmos, that was exclusive to Galaxy Samsung S9, to Galaxy S8. It can currently be flashed on any TouchWiz based ROM and you can find the downloadable zip file here.
Dolby Atmos provides realistic highly immersive sound experience when you watch movies that have Dolby Atmos profile, but most of the time you will be watching content that is not specifically made for Dolby Atmos, even in that case, with Dolby Atmos turned on you will notice the sound to be more spatial and pronounced with a louder volume. The good thing is that the volume boost that you get with Dolby Atmos does not deteriorate the quality of the audio as is the case with many sound enhancement softwares.
Make sure to check back as we will have a tutorial ready for you soon on how to flash Dolby Atmos on Samsung Galaxy S8.
