Dirt 5 is an upcoming racing video game from Codemasters. This is the latest entry in the long-running franchise, and it’s coming with next-generation console support. The game is headed to PC via Steam and will be available in October. Now, the Dirt 5 System Requirements have been revealed.

Dirt 5 System Requirements

To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications

Minimum

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: 64-Bit Windows 10 (18362)
  • Processor: AMD FX 4300 / Intel Core i3 2130
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD RX 480 (DirectX12 Graphics Card) / NVIDIA GTX 970
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 60 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
  • Additional Notes: PC audio solution containing Dolby Atmos® required for Dolby Atmos playback.

Recommended

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: 64-Bit Windows 10 (18362)
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 3600 / Intel Core i5 9600K
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon 5700XT / NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 60 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
  • Additional Notes: PC audio solution containing Dolby Atmos® required for Dolby Atmos playback.

As you can see, this is a fairly demanding title. The GPU requirement for recommended settings is an AMD 5700XT or an NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti. You also need a fairly powerful CPU to max it out. The game also requires 60 GB of storage space and Windows 10 as the operating system.

These requirements are expected because the title is aiming for next-generation consoles as well.

DIRT 5 RELEASE DATE

Dirt 5 is headed to PCPS4, and Xbox One on October 9, 2020. The game will also be available on next-generation consoles including the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
