Devil May Cry 5 is an upcoming action-adventure hack and slash video game developed and published by Capcom, and yes, you read that right, Devil May Cry 5 will run at 4k/60fps on PS4 Pro and we can’t be more than excited.

Matt Walker from Capcom has confirmed on Twitter that Devil May Cry 5 will be running at 4k/60fps on the PS4 Pro, check out the tweet below

This is pretty amazing news, given how an upcoming game is targetting 60fps at 4k, while most games struggle to even maintain 30fps on that resolution, this goes to show how well optimized the RE Engine is and how much devs are focusing on 60fps given the nature of the game.
We’re guessing that the base model will run the game at locked 60 then.
It honestly would’ve felt super weird to play Devil May Cry at 30fps no matter what resolution, the game is an action-packed hack n slash where each frame-time counts. It’s refreshing to see a title actually promising to hit 60fps on 4k.

The game is headed to PC, Xbox One and PS4 on March 8, 2019.
