Developers have shared details about their massive upcoming DLC through a Tumblr post, and here are some of the new details revealed.

  • Death’s Gambit will not be at E3.
  • Includes almost 100 new class talents
  • Many new levels
  • New bosses
  • A metroidvania style map
  • New game modes
  • New Weapons

Fixes

The developers have shared regret about the state of the game at launch, and have promised to fix many of the issues that players encountered on release. They’ve also mentioned the following details on what they plan to fix

  • Cusith has been entirely re-worked
  • Animation improvements to the Golden Drake Knight and Y’lnoth enemies

New Abilities

The developers have also shared a first look at some of the new abilities

  • One new ability we added are these bear traps. They have no stat requirement and damage scales with level. You can only place up to 5 before you run out. That said, all 5 bear traps are regenerated when you use a save point.

  • There is also an ice trap variant that can only be obtained in one of the new class talent trees.
  • They have also introduced a double jump option for better maneuvering

  • A crash down ability that opens any secret area with that glowing sigil has also been added.

All these abilities will be useable in the previous levels as well, and the levels have been expanded to cater to these. You can get the game on Steam here.

It’s always nice when developers actually take community feedback to improve the quality of their game, and we can’t wait to try out these new updates for the games.
