After countless rumors, speculations, and news, it’s finally confirmed that Death Stranding for PC is a thing, announced Kojima Productions today.
This is quite the announcement, especially before the release on the PS4, and it clears the exclusivity speculation people have been making for a while now.
Death Stranding for PC Confirmed
Kojima Production’s official Twitter handle has announced the following with the tweet below

DEATH STRANDING release on PS4 is November 8, 2019!!

So get excited folks, and if you’re a PC gamer, just wait a bit more.
Death Stranding for PC Release Date
The game is headed to PC in early summer 2020. We’re not sure which platform it will release on, but we’re hoping it comes on a variety of storefronts.
The PC release has been a subject of rumors, speculations and tons of articles over the past few years, and it’s nice to finally have some confirmation.
We’re expecting the game to run at a higher framerate, and resolutions, with updated visuals and technical features.
Kojima also visited Valve during his development time, and it could be an indicator where the game is coming out on for PC.

Metal Gear Solid 5, which is Kojima’s game before this, was also released on PC, and it’s one of the best ports currently available. We expect them to deliver a fantastic port yet again.
This is also an indicator, that games developed on the Decima Engine, which till now released PS4 titles, can be supported for PC.
Death Stranding for PS4 Release Date
The game is coming out on the PS4 next month on November 8, 2019. The review embargo for the game will lift on 1st November.
We’re very excited to see what Kojima has in store for us with this game, and this confirms just how independent Kojima Productions is as a game development studio.
