Jeff Ross, the game director of Bend Studio, has announced a new free DLC coming to Days Gone. The new free DLC will feature a new difficult mode with other challenges.
Days Gone is just around the corner and will be released on 26th April. Jeff Ross, the game director of Bend Studio which will be producing Days Gone has made an announcement regarding the free DLC for the game. The DLC will be released in June but will be free for players who will purchase the game. Besides the already available difficulty modes: Easy, Normal and Hard, a new difficulty mode will be included in the DLC. Further details down below.
Days Gone Free DLC Details
The game will feature 30+ hours of content and 60+ hours of cutscenes. Bend Studios planned to release the game on 26th April. The hardest difficulty will test the skills of the players through 30+ hours of golden path and many more hours of open world hordes, ambush camps, infestation zones, mysterious NERO checkpoints, and dynamic events in the post-apocalyptic Oregon setting.
Besides all of this exciting stuff, the devs plan to release a whole new difficult mode and new challenges each week are coming for all Days Gone players for free.
The New “Survival Mode”
According to Jeff,
‘Survival’ difficulty mode tests players by daring them to beat the story with increased difficulty settings, no fast travel or Survival Vision, and an immersive HUD that removes maps and indicators from the gameplay screen. Every tweak and change made is designed to further immerse players and ratchet up the tension to make this the definitive survival experience.
Wait, There’s More!
Starting from June, every week a new Bike, Horde, or Combat challenge will be deployed to test players even further. These new challenges will take the key features of the game and will twist them in unique ways for more rewards and items. More information regarding the Bike, Horde or Combat challenge will be revealed soon.
How much these challenges are worth?
Well, beating the Survival difficulty and challenges are not futile. They will let players earn new trophies and exceptional bike skins for showing off in the photo mode.
