Days Gone is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by SIE Bend Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is scheduled to be released exclusively for PlayStation 4. The game is Sony’s next big exclusive and we’re excited to see how well the final product looks, and it seems that does look much better than the Gameinformer coverage. Check out details about how Days Gone for PS4 at TGS 2018 was different from previous reveals and coverages.
Days Gone for PS4 at TGS 2018
If you’re unfamiliar with the news, Days Gone is playable at TGS and it seems the game has received far more polish than the version Gameinformer got to play, not just from a visual standpoint but a mechanical standpoint as well, Tokyo Hunter, who is a tech and gaming writer, got his hands on the TGS version of Days Gone, shared his thoughts in the following tweets
Just played Days Gone. It’s great. #TGS2018 pic.twitter.com/gz3TWl4piy

He further added that the game has much more polish than the previous reveal
Very polished. Looked better than the GameInformer coverage.

He then described his experience in pros and cons, stating that
Pros:
Cutscenes has great graphics and voice acting. Crafting system seems deep. You can combine supplies to make deadlier weapons like spiked baseball bats. Stealth was satisfying. Lots of Freakers.

So it seems that the developers have further improved the crafting mechanics of the game as well, maybe adding more variety and depth to it?
He did have one con to share with us as well, commenting how the character movement felt slightly off
Cons:
Deacon still looks funny when he runs. Doesn’t do much we haven’t seen in other games.

And that’s about it from him and he seems happy with what he saw. The game is still far from release and we’re sure that the developers are working hard to polish the game even further.
