The Civilization series is a long-standing empire-building simulator where you start from the ground up. The series has been defined traditionally as a 4X turn-based strategy game. The 4 X’s being eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate. The player plays against either a human or computer controlled opponent where they have to meet a certain set of goals against the opponent. Nintendo Switch fans should have cause for much excitement as Civilization VI for Nintendo Switch has just been announced for a November Release!
According to Japanese Nintendo, the award-winning turn-based strategy game is releasing on November 16th, 2018 for the Nintendo Switch.
So What’s new in Civilization VI for Nintendo Switch?
Civilization VI for Nintendo Switch includes the latest game updates. Along with this, the switch has entirely new content. Some of this includes:
- Four new Civilizations.
- Four new leaders.
- Four new scenarios.
The four new scenarios are:
- Vikings Scenario Pack.
- Poland Civilization and Scenario Pack.
- Australia Civilization and Scenario Pack.
- Persia and Macedon Civilization and Scenario Pack.
