Chromecast, Google’s smart HDMI stick which turns any HDMI supported TV in to smart TV with streaming capabilities from Youtube, Netflix, Hulu, and Google Play movies was currently available in United States only. But now it has made its way outside the United States.
The device has now available in 11 more countries, which include
- Canada
- Denmark
- Finland
- France
- Germany
- Italy
- Netherlands
- Norway
- Spain
- Sweden
- United Kingdom
Chromecast will be available in various places such as Amazon, Google Play, Currys PC World, Elkjøp, FNAC, Saturn, Media Markt and more. Some region specific apps will also be loaded in Chromecast including BBC iPlayer for the United Kingdom, Watchover in Germany (with Maxdome coming soon) and TV Pluss and SFR TV for France (CanalPlay coming soon).

Google is working with other content providers to load Chromecast with their apps.Google recently opened Chtomecast to developers and more than 3,000 developers worldwide signed that they will be bringing Price of the device will wary from region to region. It is priced $35 in the US.
