Call of Duty WW2 Storage Space on PS4 is not something to take lightly.
An image has recently surfaced revealing what could be the Call of Duty WW2 Storage Space on PS4 users. You should keep in mind that this figure could vary at the time of the game’s release, but none the less, it is equally massive.
Call of Duty WW2 will be the series return to its roots after spending plenty of time in the future after Call of Duty Black Ops 2. While World at War was a welcomed change of scenery, it seems that Activision has seen what fans wanted for a long time and are willing to give it a gambit.
The high point for many fans is the highly anticipated Zombies mode which is gonna be a trip down memory lane for fans of Zombies as it takes it back to the sinister, mad scientist origins of the series that is well known since the early Zombies games such as World at War and Black Ops.
Call of Duty WW2 PS4 and PS4 Pro Size:
You can see from the attached image that the game is slated to take a minimum of 80GB of space on your hard drive. Whether this figure means inclusive of season pass content or exclusive of it is unknown, but considering the behemoth size of Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered occupying 130 GB, it really isn’t surprising.
Call of Duty WW2 Size on Xbox:
The Pre-load went live a week ago on the Xbox One, but the size was only 45.14 GB on the Microsoft Store. Whether this size is subject to change through an install or however is still yet to be determined. Some users have speculated that the larger size on the PS4 is due to the PS4 Pro support on day one.
While the size may not look like much, it is still quite the large install on the system and a significant part of the default 500GB storage on stock PS4’s. While the console has added the addition of external storage through a firmware update earlier this year, even on 1TB hard drives this is still a hefty amount!
Call of Duty WW2 Co-op:
Sadly the game is also sporting 2-Player local co-op only, which will be applicable to multiplayer and zombies. It is disappointing that 2-player local co-op restrains the number of people who can enjoy the game since Sledgehammer has had a track record of 2 player co-op when it comes to Call of Duty.
While many gamers do miss the good old days of 4-player local co-op on the system, fans can only hope for Treyarch to return and work their magic once more.
Keep in mind that there is a significant chance for the game to leak early as we saw with Assassins Creed Origins, the series has been made infamous for always breaking street dates, so you can expect early copies to make their ways to Twitch and other places, followed by spoilers.
With all this in mind, what are your thoughts on Call of Duty WW2? Do you think the series did the right move by going back to its roots or were you a fan of the futuristic setting? Let us know in the comments section!
