The game is set for a global reveal on May 17th and a global release date for October 12th on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4, but there were rumors that suggested the game would make its way to the Nintendo Switch which have yet to be affirmed by the recent news of the release.
While Black Ops 4 was a given release for the term considering Treyarch is back at the reigns, fans can’t help but be curious about the out of the place numbering and the misuse of the classic Roman numeral, perhaps the rationale for it will be told at the reveal of the game?
Currently, there is no other information supporting the game added yet, but we can hope that the game series learned from the tremendous success of Call of Duty WW 2 and is going back to the Boots on the Ground style of combat over taking players on the walls.
Call of Duty WW2 met with great acclaim and held many charts for a long time, making it one of the more successful Call of Duty games in recent years and with rumors of the next Battlefield game also taking place in World War 2, it will be a good change of pace for the 2 renowned shooters to go back to their roots and bring back everyone’s favorite era of warfare.
Albeit I am holding out for another remaster after thoroughly enjoying Modern Warfare 2, many fans are hoping to hear news of a Modern Warfare 2 or World at War Remaster, either way its going to be a win-win.
