Beat Saber is a 2018 virtual reality rhythm game created by Czech-Slovak-based indie studio Beat Games. The game has been in early access since last year, and now it’s time for the game to officially launch. Alongside a stable version, the Beat Saber Level Editor is coming to the game as well.
Beat Saber Level Editor
The level editor for the game has been one of the most requested features and now the developers have confirmed that it’s making it’s way to the game, when it launches. It’s described as a 2D and very simplistic interface.
The developers have also announced that users will be able to use their own audio files in the level editor, and the track “beat saber” from Ost Vol. 1 will be available for free to all players. This will help players understand how they can map their tracks to levels.
Keep in mind, the level editor will only be available on PC, as it’s simply not possible for the developers right now to have it available on PS4 as well.
Beat Saber Pricing
After the early access period ends, the game will be available for $29.99. If you still want to get the game at the previous early access price, now is the time.
The price of the game before the official launch is $20, so you’ll save $10 on the purchase. The pricing will be the same across all platforms, and if you’re interested in getting it cheaper, we recommend getting it now.
Beat Saber Release Date
The game will officially launch, and switch from early access on 21st May 2019.
Beat Saber Upcoming Content
There is tons of content planned for the game, and new music will be available as part of Music Packs, but alongside paid tracks, free tracks will also be given to players.
