Back on July 26, we told you about BlackBerry plans to make its BBM app available to everyone. Earlier today, BlackBerry implemented the plan. You might have thought a new public app for all users, but instead BlackBerry just makes BBM Beta live to all!
Even before that, BBM got the fans attention when beta app signups reached 10,000 mark in no time. It’s quite early to predict about whether BBM will give a tough competition to other messengers i.e. WhatsApp in particular. However, it is definitely an important addition to Windows Phone platform.
BBM Beta for Windows Phone comes with native User Interface that is in accordance with Windows Phone Metro design. The beta app has got all the main features which includes BBM Chats, BBM Groups, Find Friends, BBM Feeds and more. Other features are expected to come in next few updates.
BlackBerry Messenger is already there on other platforms i.e. Android and iOS. The messenger has got about 85 million active monthly users and 160 million registered users which indicates its massive usage.
BBM Beta for Windows Phone is available for FREE. You can download the app from here.
I rate the app 7/10. Don’t miss to rate the app out of ten below.
