Battlefield V is about to launch all over the world for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. While the game was available to play for people who owned the premium versions of the game, it was only limited to 10 hours. During this period Raytracing was not in the graphics option. The latest Battlefield V Update 11-14-2018 enables this on RTX compliant cards.

While the Patch notes are not readily available, some of the main features of this patch are:

- Made improvements to matchmaking with a full squad which should result in less disconnects.
-
In some cases the revive functionality would suddenly stop to function for all of the players on a server. This has now been fixed.
-
Fixed an issue where a weapon would disappear on the weapon selection screen.Fixed an issue in Frontlines mode on Devastation where the bomb in some rare cases spawned inside a wall.
-
Fixed an issue which made the menus unusable when cancelling a matchmaking session.
-
In this update there are also multiple Crash fixes, better support for the Xbox One Instant-On Functionality as well as multiple fixes for the Airborne gamemode.
All of these notes are courtesy of Jaqub Ajmal, Producer at DICE.
Raytracing is easily one of the main featuers of the update as it lets you get better graphics from the game. The game delivers better reflections and lighting details with the feature enabled.
If you have a high-end PC you will definitely enjoy the feature as long as you have a RTX GPU. The udpate is live right now on PC through Origin and is 1.56GB. Once you download the patch, check for the new option in graphics.
