If you have been having issues with crashes on certain maps in the game, the latest update is just the fix you need for your Battlefield V woes. The Battlefield V December 11th Update addresses some major issues that were troubling players since launch and at least a good majority of them were game crash issues. The latest update looks to remedy it.
Battlefield V December 11th Update – Crash Fixes & Getting Spotted on Mini-Map Fixed
You can read the full changelog here but if you are unable to access the link, the image below summarizes all the changes that the small update brings to Battlefield V.
You can see that the highlight of the update is getting spotted on the mini-map after killing an enemy and numerous fixes to game crashes. In addition, players who lost the throwing knife weapon will have access to it again and the respawn count on domination has also been adjusted.
All in all, these updates might not seem like much but they’re enough to make the players happy after a long while. The game still has a long way to go in terms of satisfying the player base. The reception and overall image of Battlefield V is very rough around the edges as the fans and community alike have a lot of issues with the game.
Will Free Content Make The Game Better?
DICE has promised plenty of free content updates for the game with the first one released earlier this month. The game doesn’t come with a season pass or any kind of pass. EA has since learned from the mistakes of Battlefront 2 and Battlefield 1 and controlled their tight grip on microtransactions and post-launch content.
EA has had a rough time with first-person games lately with a struggling community present on Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1 and Battlefront 2 with people only buying the game when it is on sale. Across the 3 major platforms (PC, Xbox One, PS4), the players are only in the few 1000’s as opposed to its competitors in the 5 digits.
