If you have been following TNM for the past few days you must know that the Battlefield 5 Open Beta has begun and was up for preload on all major platforms i.e PC, Xbox One and PS4. The Open beta will go live today and some apparent issues have surfaced whereby players are experiencing squad join issues and also the problem with spectator mode. To address these issues, EA DICE has rolled out Battlefield 5 Open Beta Patch Update. This update is supposedly aimed towards solving the aforementioned issues.
Battlefield 5 has been at the forefront of gaming news ever since it was originally announced a few months ago. The game has garnered immense interest among the gaming community. It all began 16 years ago when the first ever Battlefield game titled “Battlefield 1942” was released. Ever since then the game has undergone a continuous evolution in terms of game design and gameplay.
Moreover, as we know, the past year has been a big year for BR games. After the success of such games as PUBG and Fornite, many developers have tried to jump on the bandwagon and cash in on the trend. A reason for Battlefield 5 and BlackOps 4 immense anticipation can be attributed to the fact that both the games will feature their own BR modes.
Battlefield 5 Open Beta Patch Update
The open beta for Battlefield 5 has been up for download for a few days now and will finally go live today, it is very considerate of EA DICE to fix the aforementioned issues prior to the Open beta going live. The issues that have been fixed along with the complete changelog released by EA DICE can be found below:
- Fixed Squad Join issue, allowing Squads join a match together.
- Activated Spectator mode.
- Addressed lop-sided team balance issues. Note: With this update, at the end of the match you will not be switched to the opposite side. You will have to quit and rejoin to potentially play as the other army. (We will have a permanent solution to this issue with the full launch of Battlefield V that will work as designed.)
Battlefield 5 Release Date
Battlefield V will be released on Oct 19 across all platforms. However, the deluxe version will come out a few days earlier on 16 Oct, the game is up for preorder right now on their official website.
