From the description
A throwback to the survival horror and mystery games of the original PlayStation, Back in 1995 faithfully re-creates everything from this all-but-forgotten era of games. Be transported to a world both concrete and indistinct, where you must uncover the mystery surrounding the disappearance of your daughter, the catastrophe that shook the city, and why you’ve decided to finally return. Back in 1995 was created as a labor of love by indie developer Takaaki Ichijo as a means to replicate the unique feeling he had from his first gaming experiences: the PlayStation and the Sega Saturn.
The game currently has mixed reviews on Steam and it’s not for everyone I’d say given from the look of the screenshots and some gameplay footage. If you’re really nostalgic for that legendary era, when games like Silent Hill came out, this might be right up your alley. It even has the disappearance of a family member thing going on for itself.
We’re not sure for how much the game will be priced at but it’s pretty low on Steam.
Make sure to read about Death Stranding’s release date details as well.
Even if you don’t feel like playing this, at least the PSVita is getting some titles, that has got to mean something, right?
We’re always excited to see Nintendo Switch’s library grow by the day and this just adds another title to its list of ports that keep on coming.
