Assassins Creed Origins Preload Dates Announced

Ubisoft has officially announced Assassins Creed Origins Preload dates for the platforms.

It seems that among all the hoopla surrounding Assassins Creed Origins, Ubisoft has announced the Assassins Creed Origins Preload schedule for the Xbox One, PC, and PS4. While they didn’t mention regions, you can expect them to be at noon/midnight.

Assassins Creed Origins is the triumphant return of the series following a gap year after 2015’s Assassins Creed Syndicate. The studio stated that they would skip 2016 to better work on the next entry in the series.

Assassins Creed Origins explores the roots of the ancient war between Assassins and Templars, taking us to the first days of the Assassins. The new protagonist, Bayek, will lead you through a journey of fighting a tyrannical Pharoh with help from Cleopatra and her silent alliance with the mighty Julius Ceaser of the Roman Republic.

The story will take place in the vasts sands, rivers and cities of ancient Egypt, leading players on a captivating journey as they hunt, fight, and do a number of activities around the game world to earn weapons, armor, experience.

Players will be able to climb unprecedented structures, including the mighty pyramids of Egypt! Instead of diving off the top the pyramids, players will have to slide down the sides of the pyramids to get to the bottom.

This is a change of scenery from the roots of the game where the players had to climb large vertical buildings, churches, and other marvels of architecture, but now players can fulfill the dream of scaling pyramids to their heart’s content.

The game has integrated subtle elements of RPG when it comes to character customization through gear and weapons. These are earned as in-game rewards by doing quests, story missions, side missions, exploring tombs, completing bonus objectives and when you explore the open world before you.

Assassins Creed Origins is a game that is making quite a name for itself even before its release. Due to the spoilers making their way early on to the internet, early copies being sold, and other messy situations that the game has gotten into only days before its global release, Ubisoft has announced the dates for Assassins Creed Origins Preload for each respective store.

While the dates are absolute, your timing will vary based on your region. You will have to refer to your pre-order on the respective store to find out the time, but most regions can expect a midnight or noon time for the preload to unlock for the major regions where the game is expected to launch.

The newest adventure of the Assassin’s Creed series releases on the 27th of October 2017.

You can see that the Xbox One got ahead of the curve by allowing preloads almost 12 days earlier than the entire competition. This is perhaps due to the exclusivity deal that Microsoft has with Ubisoft which allows the company to give the game early to its users.

While early copies are circulating around the market in certain regions, there are also Twitch streamers showing the game and new reports are coming in of people making whole walkthroughs of the game starting today.
