Death Stranding is an action game developed by Kojima Productions under the direction of Hideo Kojiama. The game is published by 505 Games for PS4 and PC. The game is now available on i after almost 8 months of release on PS4. One of the great things that makes PC gaming stand out from console gaming is mods. Death Stranding mods aren’t here yet, but they are on the way, for sure. The PC players will be able to enrich the world of Death Stranding with the hilarious mods soon enough but it will take some time.
It’s not long since the game is released on PC. The game is developed in the Decima engine, it will take some time by modders to develop and release mods for Death Stranding. We are also excited to see the endless possibilities of turning the dull apocalyptic world of Death Stranding with let’s say, Thomas the Tank Engine.
What Kind of Death Stranding Mods We Will Like to See
The world of Death Stranding is vast and is full of endless possibilities. Here are some of the few mods which we would like to see in the game:
Character Customization Mods
The game doesn’t allow the players to customize their character i.e., ability to change facial features, hair, body shape and more. I would personally love to play as Saitama from One Punch man to be able to deliever things wearing his funky uniform with his speciality, bald head.
You can, however, chance the outfits after the story. That’s still kind of annoying for people who enjoy cometic aesthtics on their characters.
Ragdolls and Realistic Physics Mods
The game does have the falling/slipping/injury system but they don’t seem realistic. Another thing that the community wants to have in the game is ragdolls. The ragdoll flying into the air after getting hit would be really hilarious to watch.
Thomas the Tank Engine
Who doesn’t like Thomas and who doesn’t want to see him in every game? I would really like to see Thomas running in the wearisome lands of Death Stranding and making deliveries. Check out the hilarious top 10 Thomas the Tank Engine mods in different games video by Inside Gaming
Map Editor and Quests
Custom maps and quests by the Death Stranding community might do a good job. The first step is to have the proper tools for modding and it will take time, let’s say a month or so till we see the first mod for Death Stranding. The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is considered to be the most modded game in the history of the gaming industry. The game has a mod where it replaces almost every quest developed by Bethesda with community-created quests. Just like playing a totally new game.
We’re hopeful that the game will support mods for the game as It is not confirmed whether the game will support mods in the future or not. What mods would you like to see in Death Stranding? Let us know down in the comments below.
