The developers have now started updating the jailbreak tweaks with support for iOS 7 and A7 devices after the update of MobileSubstrate for iOS 7. Yesterday, we informed you about one of the first jailbreak tweak updated i.e. TetherMe. Now its turn of famous AppLocker jailbreak tweak. The jailbreak tweak has now been updated to iOS 7. Have a look on the tweet made by its developers:
You heard it! Touch ID enabled, iOS 7 & arm64 compatible Applocker is now live! Go grab it! “@mmirepo: @cjori Applocker 2.2 is now live :)”

AppLocker is a quite handy tweak that helps users in locking the individual apps via password. However, the new updated AppLocker jailbreak tweak brings something more than that! Now, the updated tweak adds support for iPhone 5S Touch ID. You are now able to lock/unlock the apps using the fingerprint sensor of iPhone 5S.
The tweak, however, does not distinguish between different finger prints. Rather, it takes the ‘default’ entered fingerprint ID. You need to enter your fingerprints in the device. This can be done by going in to Settings app and then navigating to Touch ID menu. Once entered, you can now configure your tweak from Settings app under AppLocker menu. Here you can get your desired apps secured. So whenever, you will open that app, it will ask for your ID. Just put your finger on the Touch ID as you do while locking your phone. Now you can have access to the app.
As we know, Touch ID has a very limited usage on non-jailbroken devices i.e. of unlocking the phone or buying something in App Store. The jailbreak tweak takes this feature to an extended level!
The updated AppLocker tweak has already been submitted to Cydia’s ModMyi repo and will be soon available to download. The updated AppLocker tweak i.e. version 2.2 costs only $0.99 for new purchasers and as far as current users are concerned, they can update for FREE.
Not a complete security tool but for that price and that features, it worth testing. Simply the best security tool for low-level needs. Stay in touch to get updated regarding the latest jailbreak tweaks.
