Anno 1800 system requirements have been revealed on the Epic Store. The upcoming real-time strategy game seems to require moderate hardware power.
Anno 1800 is an upcoming real-time city-building strategy game that takes place during the industrial revolution in the 19th century. It marks the 7th iteration in the Anno franchise and returns to a more historical setting as opposed to the last two titles.
The game was initially made available for preorder on the steam store, however, a subsequent decision by the publishers shifted the game to Epic Store. You can still, however, purchase the game on steam till 16th April, the release date, after which it will only be available on Epic store.
Anno 1800 Beta screenshotJust recently, Epic store revealed the system requirements for the game and it must be noted that this is a PC exclusive game so if you were planning on getting it on one of the consoles that won’t be possible.
Anno 1800 System Requirements
Minimum:
- Respective Settings 1080p Low Preset – 60 FPS
- CPU Intel i5-4460 – 3.2 Ghz, AMD Ryzen3 1200 – 3.1 Ghz
- GPU Nvidia GTX 670 – 2GB, AMD Radeon R9 270X – 2GB
- RAM 8GB
Recommended:
- Respective Settings 1080p High Preset – 60 FPS
- CPU Intel i5-4690K – 3.5 Ghz, AMD Ryzen5 1500X – 3.5 Ghz
- GPU Nvidia GTX 970 – 4GB, AMD Radeon R9 290X – 4Ghz
- RAM 8GB
As you can see the game does not require any latest over-the-top specs to be playable. Even the recommended settings only require you to have a fourth gen i5 processor and a very reasonable GTX 970 GPU. Do note that the hardware required here is in correlation to 1080p resolution. If you happen to game on a resolution lower than that then you may even be able to run the game on a second generation i5 CPU.
