Just 2 weeks after the arrival of Android KitKat update on Nexus devices, the update has started reaching to other non-Nexus devices too.
Now, its turn of Google OEM partners hTC and LG. hTC have started rolling out the version to hTC One original model. Let’s have a look on the tweet made by hTC USA,

Similarly, Google’s most close partner LG is now also receiving the update. The update is for famous LG G2.
hTC One can be upgraded to the latest firmware via OTA. However, for LG G2, you need to use LG Update Tool. It should be kept in mind that the current rollout is for certain region. Like, hTC is rolling out the update in United States while LG in South Korea. Yet, hTC have confirmed the release of Android KitKat update for hTC One in Europe, Middle East and Africa by the end of January 2014. For LG G2, you need to wait a bit longer as other regions will begin getting the update in March 2014.
