Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is the 4th installment in the Black Ops series and is very successful compared to the previous title. Most of the positivity came through the new zombies and the story behind the zombie outbreak containing rich lore and interesting backstory of the characters who were in the Black Ops universe ever since the first Black Ops game was revealed. Another thing which made this game stand out is its fast-paced fun packed Battle Royale mode. Offering fast loot and combat system with rich environments and maps from previous fan favorites Black Ops maps all in a single map and let’s not forget zombies as well. Activision seems to have another treat for Black Ops 4 fan as they tease Blackout new map update on the Call of Duty social channels.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout new Map Update
You can see the video which seems to be teasing a Blackout new map update down below. The update might be on December 11 as suggested by the date mentioned at the bottom of the video:
You might notice a small dot in between the Nuketown island and Construction Site in Blackout which suggests nothing but the addition of the recently teased Hijacked.
What’s Hijacked and Why Hijacked?
Hijacked was teased by Neymar Jr. as he posted a video to Instagram showing a ‘Hijacked’ poster in the background.
You can see the poster named Hijacked behind him which seems to be the same map from Black Ops 2. Neymar wasn’t playing Black Ops 2 but was hyping up his stream from Black Ops 4. Which makes me want to believe that this will be the possible new addition in Blackout.
On the other hand, David Vonderhaar, recently mentioned updates were coming to the map in one of his Tweets:
We are on record as saying that we are more intrested in adding/subtracting and morphing this map then making new maps (at this time, subject to change, #disclaimer)

Why Hijacked? Because it makes a lot of sense for a bot to be in the water as you can see the small dot between Nuketown and Construction Site. Treyarch did mention that many new additions and updates will be coming in the future and this update seems to be the first update since the game’s launch in October.
Since, all of the new Call of Duty content will come to PS4 first, this map update will release for PS4 first on December 11th then on Xbox One and PC after 7 days of release on December 18th.
