A new key visual for the anticipated BEASTARS anime has been revealed. The show will premiere in October on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming lineup.
BEASTARS is a manga series by Paru Itagaki which is serialized in Shonen Champion. The manga started publishing from September 8, 2016, and is currently being published. The manga has a whopping average user rating of 8.43 and is one of the few series which keeps getting better and better and it makes me wonder why is it underrated. It is not an exaggeration to say the manga is underrated even I, who is an anime enthusiast, did not know about this series until I saw the news. In case you’re interested in the show, check out the synopsis,
“In a world populated by anthropomorphic animals, herbivores and carnivores coexist with each other. For the adolescences of Cherryton Academy, school life is filled with hope, romance, distrust, and uneasiness.
The main character is Legoshi the wolf, a member of the drama club. Despite his menacing appearance, he has a very gentle heart. Throughout most of his life, he has always been an object of fear and hatred by other animals, and he’s been quite accustomed to that lifestyle. But soon, he finds himself becoming more involved with his fellow classmates who have their own share of insecurities and finds his life in school changing slowly.”
