Xbox’s VP Mike Yabarra interested in all PC and Xbox One Games Crossplay

PC and Xbox One Games Crossplay

Xbox One

The topic of cross-play between game consoles and platforms is becoming an increasingly controversial one, with Sony’s insistence on not supporting it to Microsoft and Nintendo promoting it even more. Xbox Corp VP Mike Yabarra shares his take on the situation and his interest in all PC and Xbox One Games Crossplay.

PC and Xbox One Games Crossplay

Mike talks about his desire for all Xbox One and PC games to have crossplay, check out his tweet below

This isn’t surprising or something that is insanely technologically advanced that it isn’t possible, many games currently have crossplay between various platforms, the most popular among them is Fortnite, which can be crossplayed between PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and your mobile device, all but the PS4.

Not only this, but Rocket League also supports crossplay, not just that between even free to play games like Gwent have that, and it is for a fact the much-needed feature in all multiplayer and co-op games, having the ability to play with your friends on any platform is a very consumer friendly concept.

If what Mike Yabarra wants actually does show some progress and there is a possibility for something like to happen, I’m sure there is no one who would protest this kind of consumer-friendly practice, as the response is quite clear from the players, that locking your accounts to play on a single platform isn’t something anyone appreciates.
