It originally launched on the PS4 in 2020 and is now finally available on PC as well. This was the biggest launch on <em><strong>Steam<\/strong><\/em> for<em><strong> KOEI TECMO <\/strong><\/em>and surpassed the numbers of the first <em><strong>Nioh<\/strong><\/em> by quite a lot. Now, even though the game is doing well in numbers, it isn&#8217;t without its faults. There are some technical problems that need to be addressed, and the developers are aware of those. If you are running into a<em> Nioh 2 <\/em>crash on Windows 7, here is how you can fix that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The game is available as the Complete Edition and includes three expansion packs. It is also getting NVIDIA&#8217;s DLSS support in an upcoming patch, which will improve performance quite a bit for players that have NVIDIA RTX GPUs. The quality of ports by KOEI TECMO needs to improve, and we hope that the upcoming Persona 5 Strikers is better than Nioh 2 and Atelier Ryza 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nioh 2 crash on Windows 7<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Even in 2021, there are many users that still prefer the good old Windows 7. This can be a bit troublesome when it comes to gaming however since more and more developers are taking advantage of DirectX 12. Now, there are often media related compatibility issues with Windows 7, but nothing that can&#8217;t be fixed. Some developers however simply don&#8217;t support Windows 7 and make it clear in their system requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some users have reported that they are running into crashes in Nioh 2 while playing on a PC with Windows 7 installed. To fix this, you can follow the steps below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Open Windows Run, by either pressing <strong>Windows + R<\/strong> keys or searching for it in Windows Search <\/li><li>Enter the following location, and press <strong>Enter<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\"><strong>%WINDIR%\\System32\\<\/strong><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Here, create a copy of<strong> xinput1_3.dll<\/strong> and rename it to<strong> xinput1_4.dll<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That is all you need to do.
