The game is developed by Chinese developers <strong><em>miHoYo <\/em><\/strong>and has taken the gaming space by storm. This is also free-to-play and available on a variety of systems including <strong><em>PC, Android, iOS devices, <\/em><\/strong>and <strong><em>both PlayStation 4, <\/em><\/strong>and <strong><em>PlayStation 5<\/em><\/strong>. If you want to manually update Genshin Impact to the <strong>1.2<\/strong> version, here how you can do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Genshin Impact 1.2 is coming out tomorrow on<strong> 23rd December 2020<\/strong>, and this guide is for people that want to be ready for the update, and start playing as soon as it is unlocked by downloading the files through their download manager and not the launcher itself. For everyone else, they will need to update the game when it becomes available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Manually update Genshin Impact 1.2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can manually update it to the latest upcoming version by following the steps below. Now, keep in mind, this is only available for PC users at the moment. All other platforms including mobile and PS4 will have to update in the normal way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>First off, <strong>Update <\/strong>the launcher as normal and make sure you have the latest version with the pre-download option<\/li><li>Click the button to <strong>Start <\/strong>the pre-download, and then click to <strong>pause <\/strong>it<\/li><li>Close the <strong>Launcher<\/strong>, and make sure it isn&#8217;t running the <strong>Tasks Manager<\/strong><\/li><li>Head over to your <strong>Genshin Impact Game folder<\/strong>.
