After years of waiting, teases and hype, CD Projekt Red’s massive open-world RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, is finally here. Based on the works of Mike Pondsmith, and the multiple tabletop games, Cyberpunk 2077 is an ambitious title with a lot to offer. Since this is an RPG at its core, players usually like to keep track of their progress, and maybe back it up for any purpose or future usage. The Cyberpunk 2077 Save Game location for each platform can assist you in this regard.

It’s always helpful to back up any important save files, especially if you don’t have access to cloud storage. Sadly, for PlayStation users, you need to be subscribed to PS Plus to access the cloud saving features in general. For PC users, however, Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store have some form of cloud saves services.

You can copy your saved files, back those up, and transfer it to your PC for whatever reasons. Keep in mind that updated game versions might eventually become incompatible with old save files, which is why it doesn’t hurt to read patch notes that specifically mention that.

Each platform has a different location, and it isn’t very complicated to access either. By default, every PC client also supports cloud saves, so if for some reason you lost your save files, your first place to look is there.

There is not a lot one can do with console save files, rather than simply backing them up. By default, if you are a PS Plus subscriber, your save files are uploaded to cloud storage. To back those up, you need to either use a USB flash drive or an external hard drive to back-up any saves.
