{"id":71234,"date":"2020-04-24T10:00:56","date_gmt":"2020-04-24T05:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thenerdmag.com\/?p=71234"},"modified":"2020-04-24T10:00:56","modified_gmt":"2020-04-24T05:00:56","slug":"total-war-three-kingdoms-1-5-1-hotfix-update-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thenerdmag.com\/total-war-three-kingdoms-1-5-1-hotfix-update-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"Total War: Three Kingdoms 1.5.1 Hotfix Update Now Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenerdmag.com\/tag\/total-war-three-kingdoms\/\" target=\"_blank\">Total War: Three Kingdoms<\/a> 1.5.1 Hotfix has been officially deployed, and addresses some of the issues in the 1.51 update itself.<\/p>\n<p>Three Kingdoms is the latest entry in the long-running historical franchise, Total War by Creative Assembly.<\/p>\n<h2>Total War: Three Kingdoms 1.5.1 Hotfix Update Patch Notes<\/h2>\n<p>Check out the detailed patch notes for the update below<\/p>\n<p>On the 23rd of April 2020, we released an additional beta update to the 1.5.1 patch that fixed issues that were causing games to crash:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed crash introduced in 1.5.1 that would occur after a campaign had progressed for a good number of turns<\/li>\n<li>Also fixed crash on loading save games caused by the above issue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As well as these new additions, we\u2019re also aware of ongoing reports from the community of issues and quirks remaining in the game. To address any concerns, below is a list a future fixes we\u2019re working on for inclusion in the next patch:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fix for a UI issue that flagged an \u201cunknown build number\u201d when loading a saved game. Save games can safely be loaded despite the prompt from the UI as the issue is with the UI, not the save<\/li>\n<li>Fix that stops faction income showing differently once a saved game is loaded<\/li>\n<li>More issues around alliance-war peace issues fixed<\/li>\n<li>A full fix for Fervour not being turned off properly after the Mandate War ends<\/li>\n<li>Fixed issues around bandit faction unique units and bandit network unit caps<\/li>\n<li>Zheng Jiang can again request tribute from non-bandit factions<\/li>\n<li>Fixed the missing prime minister court position in Mandate of Heaven<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In order to opt into the updated 1.5.1 hotfix beta:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Right-click on\u00a0<strong>Total War: THREE KINGDOMS<\/strong>\u00a0in your Steam library<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Properties<\/strong>\u00a0and click the\u00a0<strong>Betas<\/strong>\u00a0tab<\/li>\n<li>In the drop-down menu, select the\u00a0<strong>patch_1.5.1<\/strong>\u00a0option<\/li>\n<li>Close the window and your build will automatically update to 1.5.1<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The 1.5.1 hotfix also addresses the following issues:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed an issue where Titles were not unlocking correctly once a save had loaded<\/li>\n<li>Confederation is available again as a diplomatic option once you become King\/Emperor<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where effects from buildings and assignments to reduce Fervour weren\u2019t working in the Mandate of Heaven campaign<\/li>\n<li>Fixed issue where some Yellow Turban buildings in Mandate campaign required some techs from the main campaign<\/li>\n<li>Bandit minor settlements can now gain population properly<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a bug where if Yan Baihu was attacked while using Poison Volley ability he became stuck and unable to move or fight for the rest of the battle<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where the political influence bars were not showing up for Liu Hong on his court screen<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where if L\u00fc Bu has administrators and accepted an event to move to Liu Bei\u2019s territory those administrators were unassigned<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a crash caused by Requesting Tribute from a faction which is the target of a Mercenary Contract<\/li>\n<li>Tao Qian set so he can no longer spawn into the A World Betrayed campaign (as he\u2019s absolutely meant to be dead)<\/li>\n<li>Cheng Yu will no longer leave Cao Cao in A World Betrayed on turn one if the player starts a legendary campaign<\/li>\n<li>Pang Ji will no longer leave Yuan Shao in A World Betrayed on turn one if the player starts a legendary campaign<\/li>\n<li>Cai Mao has been added to Liu Biao\u2019s faction in A World Betrayed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What do you think about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalwar.com\/blog\/total-war-three-kingdoms-1-5-1-hotfix-update\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Three Kingdoms 1.5.1 Hotfix<\/a>?
