If you&#8217;re playing it, and want to skip Half-life: Alyx Intro logo, here&#8217;s how.<\/p>\n<p>The game is exclusively VR, and Valve doesn&#8217;t plan to release a non-VR version for it.<\/p>\n<h2>Skip Half-life: Alyx Intro logo<\/h2>\n<p>To skip the intro logo, all you need to do is add an option in the launch options. Follow the steps below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Find Half-life: Alyx\u00a0in your Steam library, and right-click on the title<\/li>\n<li>Head over to <strong>properties<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Next, click on <strong>Set Launch Options<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Enter the following command<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<pre><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">-novid<\/span><\/strong><\/pre>\n<ul>\n<li>Click Ok, and the next time you run Half-life: Alyx, it will skip right to the menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Half-life: Alyx System Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>To run the title on PC, you&#8217;ll need the following specifications.<\/p>\n<h3>Minimum<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>OS: Windows 10<\/li>\n<li>Processor: Core i5-7500 \/ Ryzen 5 1600<\/li>\n<li>Memory: 12 GB RAM<\/li>\n<li>Graphics: GTX 1060 \/ RX 580 &#8211; 6GB VRAM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The game is fairly demanding and if you plan to play it at higher resolutions and frame-rate you&#8217;ll need a beefy system for sure.<\/p>\n<h2>Steam<\/h2>\n<p>You can get it on <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/546560\/HalfLife_Alyx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Steam<\/a> and you will need a support VR headset to play it.<\/p>\n<p>For non-VR users, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/valve-is-looking-forward-to-mods-that-remove-vr-from-half-life-alyx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Valve has commented<\/a> that they&#8217;re sure that some form of the non-VR mod will eventually come out.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re excited to see what Valve has in store for non-VR users, and for VR in general.<\/p>\n<h2>Reception<\/h2>\n<p>The game currently has a Metacritic score of 92, and an open critic score of 92 as well.<\/p>\n<p>Despite being a VR only title, the game saw a peak player count of 42k, and it seems like a success.<\/p>\n<p>Valve has also commented that the direction they take when it comes to future titles will depend on how well Alyx does.<\/p>\n<p>Was this guide useful?
