Mozilla has announced a <b>deal with a Chinese Shanghai-based fabless semiconductor company Spreadtrum <\/b>Communications. The deal will lead to the design of the low-cost chipset. This low-cost chipset will pave its way to the making of $25 smartphone. The main objective of both companies is to hit cost sensitive countries like India, Indonesia, and Pakistan etc. In such countries, the people are quite willing to buy smartphones but unfortunately they can\u2019t afford them. Mozilla is also <b>in talks with various carriers<\/b> i.e. Telenor, Indosat etc. At this point, this seems a dream but as the technology has advanced, we can expect anything to happen sooner or later. Let\u2019s hope for the best.
