The cast from first season will return for the 2nd season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ultraman is a 3D CG <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenerdmag.com\/tag\/original-anime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">original<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenerdmag.com\/tag\/anime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">anime<\/a>\u00a0series by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenerdmag.com\/tag\/netflix\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Netflix<\/a>. Season 1 was produced by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenerdmag.com\/tag\/production-i-g\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Production I.G<\/a> and Sola Digital Arts, season 2 will also be produced by the collaboration of both companies. The news for the second season was made during the 2019 Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France. More details down below<\/p>\n<h2>Ultraman Anime 2nd Season Staff, Cast and Story Details<\/h2>\n<p>Netflix has been working hard to increase its anime catalog as they keep adding and announcing anime for its library. Ultraman aired on Netflix on April 1, 2019, and just after a month of airing the company has green-lit the second season. The cast from the season 1 will return for season 2.<\/p>\n<h3>Story Synopsis<\/h3>\n<p>Netflix describes the story as,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Several years have passed since the events of\u00a0<cite class=\"e anime\">Ultraman<\/cite>, with the legendary &#8220;Giant of Light&#8221; (\u5149\u306e\u5de8\u4eba Hikari no Kyojin) now a memory, as it is believed he returned home after fighting the many giant aliens that invaded the Earth.
