Apex Legends has grown into quite the BR experience ever since its release earlier this year. Like any BR shooter, the game has had its fair share of bugs and performance issues, however, over the past couple months, most of the performance issues have been eradicated through multiple updates. However, this is not to say that the game is completely problem free as evident by the constant activity on EA technical forums. Today, I will talk about Apex Legends apex_crash.txt and how it can help you and the devs to solve several issues.

In a previous update, the devs implemented a new bug reporting system whereby you can upload a .txt file, created when a crash occurs, to the ea technical forums and the devs will then assess whether the problem arises from the game itself or some third party app.

Apex Legends apex_crash.txt Explained: Location, What’s Inside, Its Usage

Location:

Finding the file is quite simple, You will need to go to your documents folder where you will find the file.

Do note that the devs have made it abundantly clear that this file will gather no sort of personal data and to confirm this you can open the file for yourself and see whether it contains any such data.

What’s Inside?

Well, the apex_crash.txt will simply contain the crash error details that may not at times be readily displayed after a crash. if you have ever experienced a crash where no crash error was displayed then your best bet is to check your documents folder and locate the most recent apex_crash.txt file which will contain the crash details.

Usage?

Once you have located the file, you will simply head over to EA technical issues forum and make a new thread where you will attach the said file with your query. The devs will then look into the matter and get back at you.
