The much awaited Battlefield 5<\/a> battle royale<\/a> mode called “Firestorm<\/a>” is finally nearing release. The patch is set to go live on March 25th. Full patch notes have also been released.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The battle royale genre of shooting games has seen a tremendous rise in popularity over the past couple of years. This has been mainly due to the immense success of games like Fortnite<\/a> and PUBG<\/a> which have completely transformed the online shooting experience.<\/p>\n

Although the BR mode predates Fortnite and PUBG, these two games nevertheless brought it to the mainstream of gaming as most would agree. Now with the arrival of Apex Legends<\/a> the month before, the BR genre has once again risen to prominence after a somewhat applaudable attempt by BO4<\/a> to capture the market.<\/p>\n
